At Tiny Bikers, we provide three different programmes that can be delivered to schoolchildren in Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire and Berkshire, all designed to help them learn how to cycle, grow in confidence and develop independence.
If you’re looking to help the children under your care develop, and are looking to use the PE and Sport Premium to maximum effect, then a Tiny Bikers course could be the perfect way programme for you to invest in.
The Balanceability course is the entry-level programme we offer, using balance bikes to help young children to learn how to safely and confidently cycle on two wheels without stabilisers.
Bikeability is for children who can already cycle, and takes them to the next step. This government approved Cycling Proficiency programme teaches them how to cycle safely as well offering an introduction to cycling on roads safely.
You’ll know as well as us just how popular scooters are in this day and age, but the reality is that there’s a dearth of information on scooting safely, and that’s what Scootability is designed to change.
If you’re interested in finding out how Tiny Bikers works, and whether it could be right for your child, then the next step is to find your local Tiny Bikers class, and have a chat to a coach.
The Tiny Bikers programme provided by Davie and team was absolutely fantastic and one the best sports programmes we’ve ever had at our school! Bringing all their own balance bikes, helmets and equipment, Davie and the team set up a fantastically well structured programme for our Foundation children, providing some well paced and perfectly pitched sessions for our very youngest in the school.
From start to finish, the organisation, communication and enthusiasm from all the coaches was excellent, with all the children in the sessions achieving massively.
The buzz from the Tiny Bikers was infectious as they ‘whizzed’ around the playground, with many of the older year groups being ‘green with envy’, quickly asking, when was their turn.
We were so impressed, we’ve already booked our next year’s sessions for Foundation Stage and are looking for opportunities to extend the cycling program to the rest of the school.
